GEPL (Trustee for the General Gumala Enterprises Trust)

Gumala Enterprises Pty Ltd (GEPL) is 100% Aboriginal-owned and proudly represents the Traditional Owners of the Banjima, Yinhawangka and Nyiyaparli language groups. The 100% shareholder of GEPL is Gumala Aboriginal Corporation (GAC).

The objective of GEPL is to provide sustainable returns to GAC and GIPL through the successful ownership / management of GEPL owned enterprises.

Their vision is driven by a commitment to generate sustainable profits from the GEPL enterprises, which are then distributed to GAC and GIPL to, in turn, provide for programs to the Members which improve their quality of life.

GEPL seeks to facilitate employment opportunities and training for GAC Members through the GEPL enterprises.

GEPL’s primary business at present is in tourism/hospitality (Karijini Eco Retreat/KER). KER is a world-renowned tourist location set in the spectacular surroundings of Karijini National Park in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia.
