In January we launched the ‘Healthy Kids Healthy Spirits’ program, an initiative designed to support and nurture our children for the duration of their education journey. From their first day of kindy to their final day of high school, Gumala is there.

By providing resources for students and celebrating cultural identity, we are empowering our future leaders to embark on their educational journey with confidence and pride.

‘Welcome to Kindy’ Packs

As part of the program, we launched the ‘Welcome to Kindy’ packs, available to all Gumala kids starting kindy. These packs are full of goodies designed specifically for our youngest learners, equipping them with the foundational tools they need to thrive in their early years of education.

Staying Refreshed and Focused with ‘Back to Learning’

Transitioning back into school can be a big step, but we wanted to make that process is as smooth as possible with the ‘Back to Learning’ program, which focuses on keeping our kids hydrated and focused during their school day. As part of this initiative, we provided each student with a durable drink bottle, decorated with vibrant artwork by Banjima artist Sarah Cox.

It’s often the simple things that make the biggest difference, and ensuring kids have access to water throughout the day is a key part of setting them up for success in the classroom.

Celebrating Heritage and Culture

We firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of a strong future. By empowering our children today, we are helping them grow in mind, body, and spirit. Our Healthy Kids, Healthy Spirits program is designed to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has the resources and support they need to succeed.
