Health Assistance Program
The aim of the Health Assistance Program is to provide assistance with medical expenses to Gumala Members and their immediate family contributing to the improvement of their health and over all wellbeing.
The program will not exceed $400 per Member and will be contributable towards health insurance policy premiums, ambulance cover or towards other medical bills.
Any assistance provided to medical providers would be paid directly to the health fund provider / supplier.
Funeral Assistance Program
The aim of the Funeral Assistance program is to provide assistance to Gumala Members and their immediate families attending funerals and / or covering the reasonable costs associated with a funeral. The program will not exceed $2000 per Member and will assist in alleviating the financial burden of the costs associated with funeral arrangements, travel, accommodation and headstones for the deceased.
The program aims to ensure the cultural significance of attendance at funerals is addressed.
Education Support Programs – Children
The aim of the Education Support Program is to provide support and assistance to Gumala families for the costs associated with schooling their children.
The program provides for $250 per child for Kindergarten students, $500 per child for Primary School students and $500 per child for High School students. The programs will not exceed the amounts allocated for each child. The child must be recognised as a Beneficiary of the Trust to access funding. Any assistance provided would be paid directly to goods or service providers or the schools themselves.
